Watcher Setup
The watcher runs on your PC during scrims and uploads each game to the dashboard the moment it ends.
Download the package below — it includes a standalone Windows executable (no Python required)
and your API key pre-configured.
How to use it
1
Download the ZIP above
You'll get 3 files: the .exe, your personal watcher_config.json, and a README.txt
2
Extract to a folder on your PC
Anywhere — Desktop, Documents, a dedicated H3 folder, whatever works for you. Keep all three files together.
3
Launch MCC and get into a custom lobby
The watcher only needs to be running before you finish your first game. You can start it any time before then.
4
Double-click h3_carnage_watcher.exe
A black terminal window opens and starts watching for games. You'll see "✓ Dashboard reachable" if everything's working.
⚠ Windows SmartScreen may warn you the first time — click "More info" → "Run anyway". This is normal for unsigned executables.
5
Play your scrims
Each game uploads to the dashboard the moment it ends. Watch them appear live on the Pending Live tab.
6
When you're done, press Ctrl+C in the terminal (or just close it)
The session stays in a "pending" state on the dashboard until an admin reviews it.
7
Go to Pending Live and commit the session
Review the games, exclude any you don't want, then hit "Commit Session". The stats and ELO update immediately.
Notes:
Local backups of every game are saved in a carnage_reports/ folder next to the exe
If a game fails to upload, the watcher retries it when you exit
Incomplete games, matchmaking games, and Snipedown are auto-skipped
You can run the watcher alongside MCC — it uses almost zero CPU
